This combination of pure, fine-textured plant oils and extracts deeply rehydrates combination, oily and breakout acne skin. It helps to keep pores clear. NB apply the oil to a well exfoliated skin and use with Toning Lotion for best results.

Features

Sage -inhibits bacteria in skin and regulates sebum production.
Lavender - balances oil production, reduces surface scarring.
Australian Sandalwood - helps reduce redness of various skin conditions.

With 1-2 pumps of Face Oil in palm, spray in some Toning Lotion.
Rub hands together then massage oil over face, neck and décolletage.

Advice

Use less oil in hot, humid weather – even just a small drop will go a long way when applied with the Toning Lotion as above.
Use more oil in colder weather.
Every night after cleansing, exfoliate with One Step Exfoliating Cleanser to keep pores clear and help absorption of of other products.

Re-ordering this (along with several other simplicite products I used to use religiously) because I saw some old photos of myself where I was almost glowing! I've been very minimal about my skincare for a year or two, but the face oil (which I always mixed with the toner in the palm of my hand), face scrub, and lemon night cream gave me really noticeable results. The oil is light and breathable which is great for my sensitive skin.

I have been using this item for years and it shows. I was asked if I was in my forties! Nope but my skin looks like it!

Magic oil

Someone recommended this to me, saying my complexion (breakouts, oily T zone, blackheads on my nose - early 30s) could benefit from this product. You can’t over use it, it gives my skin so much colour and improves texture, not to mention curb the breakouts because my skin isn’t over drying. It is amazing when paired with the toner. I mix together in my palms and then all over face - I feel like I can see it working. I just wish I could have a bigger bottle- I use it day and night.

Why I have been buying simplicite sage face oil for well over half my life (and I am now 51!)

I began using sage face oil at 20 years of age, when David and Robin first started to make skincare products. It has been a product I have returned to over the decades - perfect for my combination skin as a young women, and now lovely with the addition of a serum (antioxidant plant or rehydration, both divine) in my early 50’s. I bought it for both my children in their teens and my daughter, now 22, has it as a staple in her kit. My 18 year old son, a keen surfer, knows to go back to it when his skin needs some love. Simplicite sage face oil has the hallmarks of a cult product!
